This annual event is Nordstrom’s biggest sale of the year where you can find major discounts on all the new fall styles hitting the shelves in the coming months. You can find savings in every category from clothing, shoes, and handbags, to accessories, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances, and even home items! Since items in the sale are heavily discounted, popular items do tend to sell out fast! That’s why I love covering the sale—so I can give y’all updates when items restock, share my top picks, and alternative options if you aren’t able to snag the item you’ve been eyeing. This post is your one-stop-shop for the sale with everything you need to know and when you can shop, along with all of the sale picks I’ll be sharing throughout NSale!
Nordstrom Sale Dates: When You Can Shop
Everyone can preview the sale now and start building a wishlist for the items you want to shop, but the Nordstrom Sale opens to shoppers depending on their Nordy (Nordstrom Rewards/credit card) status.
- July 6: Early Access for cardmembers with Icon status.
- July 7: Early Access for cardmembers with Ambassador status.
- July 9: Early Access for cardmembers with Influencer status.
- July 15: Anniversary Sale opens to the general public. Everyone can shop!
Frequently Asked Questions About the Sale
Can I shop the sale in person and online? Yes! I personally think it’s easier to shop online since you can build a wishlist and essentially add items to your cart ahead of time so once the sale opens to you to shop, you can just checkout! Plus, Nordstrom always offers free shipping + free returns!
What brands are included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? My fav brands on sale are usually Free People, Barefoot Dreams, Sam Edelman and Nordstrom brands like BP and Treasure & Bond. I like the length of this top! It’s long enough just to show a little of the mid section so super flattering!

They didn’t have an xs top in store so I couldn’t compare with the small but it does fit well! I have a bigger chest so the xs probably would’ve been too tight. I like the stretchy fit of the leggings and really liked how high waisted they were. The length was perfect on me!

“I’m usually really picky about workout sets but loved this one. The top erminded me of my Lulu one, its really supportive. It has pads but I took mine out since I don’t like when they move around, I do that on all of mine lol. The pants are compresive and they dont roll which I hate. I did have to fold them up at the bottom but I do that with most of the ones I get since I’m on the shorter side.”

I love these honestly for year round! I would wear these now like this or add a jacket or sweater for winter and fall! They were a little long but you can roll them in to make shorter.

I was surprised by how soft these were. They have a lot of stretch so forgiving in the waist. They do bunch around the crotch area which I wasn’t a fan of.

Look 1: Nike Free Metcon 4 (SALE: $95.99) These training shoes would be perfect for the gym but could easily transition into cute athleisure. They pull on really easily so you don’t have to untie all the way each time!
Look 2: Steve Madden Chaya Pointed Toe Boot (SALE: $94.99) This neutral bootie will go literally everything this fall + the wood heel and cutouts with minimal western detail give it a little something extra than a basic suede bootie.
