Tunic Sweater Dress

Dress: Madewell (sm) | Shoes: Sam Edelman (sale here)| Hat: Nordstrom | Necklace: Nadri

So I am pretty sure this dress is for layering but I really haven’t got into the t-shirt under a dress trend yet. Idk if I ever will but I do love this dress just by itself! I think it would be cute with a chambray top tied around my waist or a black blazer thrown over it. Here I went with comfortable and dressed for the weather of HOT so just the dress with some slides did the job. I did add this hat to fall it up and give it some major accessory inspo!

It actually is finally starting to feel colder and it feels so darn good! Today we are shooting our Halloween looks and I am so excited to share!! I am going to share a bff costume idea and a couples costume. I am thinking of sharing a full post tomorrow on costume ideas!!

Crushing on All Fall Things

Some major seasonality wardrobe changes happening over here! I am working on transitiong my closest to fall / winter and I have spent hours on the web trying to find the best pieces! I either have ordered all these items or they are in my shopping cart. All are SO cute and I am loving the trends fall has to offer this time around. These also are my must have booties. SO CUTE and the most comfy ever. They also are so stylish with the pointy toe! I am thinking of doing a fall try on session either later this evening or this week!

So I added a few tabs & I will continue to add fall / holiday tabs until the end of the year. I will be updating them every Thursday! I also have a TON of holiday gift guide tabs, what to wear to events, etc coming your way. I also had a ton of questions on what to wear to a fall wedding and I am dying over all these picks. I don’t have any more fall weddings left but I do have a few fall events!

  1. Green Dress: I NEED NEED NEED. This color is amazing and I think it would be so pretty for Thanksgiving or any fall event!
  2. Polka Skirt: Just got this in and feeling hot hot hot in it / oh so stylish!
  3. Cardigan: We all need a cozy cardigan to wrap us in for those chilly mornings.
  4. Denim: I shared these jeans here and they were such a  hit. I am wearing my normal 25 and fit tts!
  5. Pink Top: Pleated and such a pretty color / high neck
  6. Booties: Can’t say enough good things about these pointy booties
  7. Cheetah: I am so excited about this off the shoulder cheetah sweater. I also just got it in!
  8. Dress: Totally ordering this babe becasuse everythign to the color, cut, style, etc is just perfect!

Another Plaid Skirt

Turtleneck: Modcloth | Skirt: Modcloth (xs) | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Hat: Modcloth

Opps the obsession with plaid mini skirts continue and I am kinda embarrassed about how many I have ordered / worn this month! Haha oh man, clearly I have a favorite trend this fall. I just feel so girly in a skirt or dress and think they are so much fun! This plaid print has been a huge fall print this season, especially for blazers. I haven’t jumped on the plaid blazer trend yet but I for sure am a fan of the  skirts!

I also have been wearing this turtleneck top like non stop! This top is the perfect staple piece and I have been wearing it with jeans, shorts, etc. Such a versatile top! I have been loving Modcloths fall selection and even was excited about this hat!

Happy Monday pumpkins! We had the craziest weekend ever. I was so excited that husband came home and I got to spend the weekend with so many amazing ladies at the Create and Cultivate Style Summit. Sunday we went to church and did absolutely nothing which was MUCH needed!

The cahhuttest mini skirt you ever did see! How perfect would this be for Thanksgiving or Christmas festivities! I did order the petite version and I am getting questions on how why it looks shorter in the photos than online. I was worried at first too since the photo online looks soooo long but I think since I ordered the petite, I was good! I am 5’3 and wearing a 2p! Lately, I have been drawn to skirts with boots more than ever! I also got this top in a couple colors since it is the perfect fall basic. I wore it all over San Francisco last week with some jeans and then added this skirt to go out at night!

Happy weekend friends! This weekend I am speaking at the one and only Create and Cultivate and I could not be more excited / nervous! I will be on a panel with some of my favorites and I can’t believe the weekend is already here. Emily and I were  in the bathroom at Beauty and Essex in New York during fashion week when we found out we would be on the panel together! I honestly didn’t believe it was a real email! I am just so honored to be on stage with such amazing ladies. I also have an AMAZING husband who is flying all the way from Asia to come listen to me speak. We have been rehearsing some questions over the phone this week but I literally can’t wait to hug his neck tonight. Ok I am done!
