Woven Linen Dress: Sienna Sky | Wedges: Jessica Simpson (limited sizes left so similar cuties here) | Purse: Matt & Nat | Watch: Michael Kors | Earrings: Kendra Scott

Everyone needs a simple but detailed woven linen dress in their wardrobe. The best part about this one you ask? It is under $50 and has POCKETS. How cute is that? Pairing this linen dress with the perfect wedges and a cross body made it effortless. Sadly these Jessica Simpson heels are sold out mostly everywhere but Amazon has limited sizes left. I will have to keep a look out when they come back in stock. Some might say I am too early for Spring but I say in Houston, there are no seasons. Winters overrated in my book, aka I hate it, so I am gearing up and ready for Spring and Summer (my absolute favorite time of the year). That is probably why I live in Texas and will always live here my whole life.

Thanks for stopping by and oh Happy Friday! Hope you all have a restful weekend. I think thats what hubby and I have planned this weekend (I think!).

What an easy go to look for running around these fabulous February days. This Jcrew tripped shirt has the perfect touch of pink that can add a spice in your striped tee collection. Pairing the Topshop jean jacket around the waste breaks up the all white look and gives it another denim feel. I know white Converse made a debut last summer but I believe they are here to stay with the casual look and I am loving it. This effortlessly chic look can be recreated by you! I would love to see how you style your Jcrew striped tees this season. Especially hot pink striped tees because they are the cutest.

Dress: Jella C | Blazer: Vince Camuto (Similar) | Flats: Yosi | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Earrings: Kendra Scott

A white sweater dress is kind of hard to style in my opinion but once I spotted this tan blazer, it all came together for some work attire inspiration. This sweater dress is darling but maybe a little too tight of a sweater dress. I tend to go more comfortable with my clothing now and this was something I had to watch when I was wearing it. Placing a blazer did make the look more comfortable and I think perfect for those office days. I remember always getting so board of office clothes and this little ensemble would have been perfect with some nude heels.

I wanted to first thank you all for your patience with all the malfunctions I have been struggling with the past couple days (hence my blog lack of blog post yesterday). I still am blogging everyday, Monday-Friday, but my website was so jacked up I could not get a post in. I still am posting from another system today and will probably be on the phone all day trying to fix the problem. Again THANK you for your patience and willingness to come back everyday! At least I got my page back up and running vs Monday night when it wouldn’t even load. Oh the joys. Happy Hump Day!

How cute is this shoot! I got to collaborate with my favorite Houston bloggers, The Hello Honey Blog & Uptown with Elly Brown. These girls are about the sweetest gals you can find and have been the BIGGEST blessing to me. Brittany, from Hello Honey, is so full of sugar and the sweetest thing you ever did meet. Elly, from Uptown, is a fierce go-getter who challenges me in the gym, with my blog, and spiritually. I couldn’t be more thankful for these two!

Who else has some great gal pals out there? Valentine’s day is about celebrating the ones you love, and your ladies are definitely included! So why not get together with your favorite girlies and celebrate “Galentines” this year!  Celebrate using some ideas below (FYI – official Galentines is celebrated February 13th).

  1. Host a wine & cheese night // Host a night where your girls can just come over after work for some much needed girl time with some wine & cheese. Maybe a night that the bachelor is playing because girls, wine, cheese, and the bachelor, all sound like a good night.
  2. Fancy Dinner // What girls don’t enjoy a fancy night of getting all dressed up and, as Ted would say, “wining and dining” themselves. Pick a nice place and make a reservations for your girls and choose a theme like all red dresses <3
  3. Sleep over // Remember those good ol’ high school days where you would have sleep overs with your favorite jammies and movies? Swapping stories and eating a bunch of junk food is a night we are never too old to have.
  4. Skype Date // For those that have girlies far away, don’t let distance keep you apart. We live in a world where technology is at our fingertips so plan a Skype date and chat away!
  5. Nail / Spa appointment // Going to the nail salon or a spa appointment is no fun going all alone. Set a time for all your ladies to get pampered!

Head over to Uptown with Elly Brown to read about V-Day ideas with the hubby, and don’t miss Hello Honey Blog for ideas with your littles.
