So let me start by saying white after Labor Day is not a thing in my book. Apparently it has been written from the socialites in the 1800s. “Only summer months, weddings and resort were for white occasions.” Of course my fashion icon Coco Chanel claimed to not follow the rule and I shall not either. When Labor Day was adopted in 1894, it was the official end point for summer fashion. Who knew! This white suite ensemble has bell sleeves written all over it. When I first put this together, Ted was not a fan, and I couldn’t tell if I was convinced either (truthfully). But the more I stare at this look, the more it grows on me. Especially the wide leg Vince Camuto pants I have crushed on lately. If I were still in the office, I would rock this look to meetings and stand out. Office looks tend to get stale and for those creative fashionistas, this look is for you!
Hope you all have a great Thursday! I feel like I have been running around all week.
