How adorable is this tied up chambray. Once I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Chambray has become such a basic shirt but the touch of lace up is perfection. It is a mix of comfortable (which I am all about) with some chic style. Did you all know that chambray or “serenity” is this years Pantone color. Pantone is an international panel that chooses colors every year that influences the fashion, wedding, home decor, etc industry. I found out about Pantone while I was in the wedding industry as a wedding coordinator. Once the color came out every year, it was game time for the wedding industry leaders to utilize the color. Now that I am in the fashion industry, it is pretty much the same thing! This year was the first time ever that they have released two colors together, rose quartz and serenity. There is a deeper meaning behind the colors than just colors.
I just did a collaboration with some ladies with Pantone colors and I am speaking about it at my first blog hosting event this weekend so it clearly has been on my heart. I will go more in depth of Pantone on a future post. Thanks for stopping by and happy Hump DAY!
Alrighty, first this swing dress look is only $36. You can’t beat that deal. I foresee lots of hot summer days throwing on swing dresses with some Converse, so I better start collecting now. The cotton feel on this dress is perfect for those hot days! The only thing is I would beware the unwanted wrinkles on this dress. I literally just ironed this dress and when putting it on, it got ruined. Other than that, simple, fast and easy is my kind of style and this look says it all. You could easily dress this look up with some accessories and pumps for a more polished look.
Thanks for stopping by! It means the world. Today I was supposed to leave to Cancun for training on becoming a travel professional but Emily, who I was traveling with, had a family emergency. Somehow minutes after my trip got canceled, my week got packed again with meet ups, meetings, etc. I love it! I hope you all enjoyed all the sales that went on this weekend. Enjoy your 4 day week!
Hey lovelies, I hope you all had a great weekend celebrating yourself and your loved ones. We had the best weekend that we have had in a while. We spent ALL Saturday date after date and it was a day I will never forget. The best part is I was unplugged from my computer (probably a first in months) and it felt so darn good. I rounded up my fav sales I have found for you all. So if you items in your shopping cart pending from any of the websites below, now is your time to make your purchase. If you all find any other great sales going on, please feel free to share!
So a blazer doesn’t always have to be so serious. Especially a fun pop of color, like this blazer, adds some spice in your life and not in a super business formal kind of way. I took the laid back approach with some stripes, the comfiest jeans in the world, and some spring time booties. First I found a similar striped long sleeve tee with a V neck that is 40% off leaving it at $22. If you can tell by the photos, I rolled up the striped tee sleeves with the blazer and doesn’t it give a pop of detail. I would love to see you all recreate a look similar as this! This business pieces in your closet does not always have to stay boring and stiff for business days. Rock them on the casual days as well.
I also thought this was the perfect casual date night outfit for Valentines this year! What a fun flirty color to bring out to your wardrobe. What plans do you all have this year? I love hearing what other people have planned or getting for their significant others. It always gives me good ideas for the next time around! I hope you all enjoy this weekend of love wether with your babe, your mom, your best friend, or your dog. You are loved no matter what!
