This adorable dress is light, easy, and can be dressed up or down. However your heart desires. I went for an effortless look for this one but don’t let this dress fool you, it can easily be transitioned. It is a perfect fall staple that is a very light material and truly flattering on any body type. I foresee repeating this darling turtle neck dress more in the future.

I hope everyone had a great restful weekend! Mine was full of family, food, and photo shoots. I originally had four photo shoots planned for the weekend but the rain did not allow that to happen. I am looking forward to the rescheduled sessions this week! I also wanted to announce I have officially decided to blog Monday- Friday for the rest of 2015 so be expecting a post everyday. So excited!

Casual Friday.

Jeans: AG | Sweater: Gap | Shoes: Nine West | Blouse: Topshop (sleeveless version here)

Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by. I went into Gap for the first time in years and came across this lovely sweater, I love the color and quality! I thought this outfit represents the casual office Friday’s I so use to look forward too during my time in Corporate America. Jeans & some heels are one of my favorite looks.

This week was a crazy one! I have been attending one blog event after the other ever since Saturday in Chicago. I have really really enjoyed getting to network in the blog world and learn so much more. This weekend I have 3 photo shoots so I am praying for no rain to get those family pictures in! Can’t wait. Happy weekend loves.

Go Blog Social.

My attire to the Go Blog Social is one of my favorite trends right now. Some high knee boots with a shift dress gives such a edgy look. Top it off with a coat since it was a rainy day in Chicago and the look was complete. I had such a blast at the Go Blog Social. I learned so much about the blog world and I am ready to implement all that was learned. Hubby got to come for a little bit and it was so much fun getting to discuss the speakers with him afterwards. Even though he was the only guy in the room besides a speakers husband. How come there are few guy bloggers? Ted Raad needs to hop onto that 🙂

Hope you all are having a great Wednesday! Today I am going to join my sissy dear with her flying lessons. I am kind of nervous but what is the fun if I do not go?! She is flying her first 4 passenger plane so that means she can take me along. Follow along dederaad Snapchat of our flying adventure. Thanks for stopping by!

Casual Chicago.

Jeans: Gap (on sale) | Booties: Lucky (but I’ve been eyeing these for days) | Denim Jacket: Forever 21 | Scarf: JCrew  (30% off with code SHOPSALE)

A casual look for being a tourist in Chicago our first day. These girlfriend distressed jeans are super comfortable and a perfect color for fall. I got them a tad bit too big so I would recommend going down a size since they stretch majorly. I never saw myself as falling into the denim jacket trend but I don’t regret diving in and joining the trend with this outfit. You just won’t ever see me wearing two denims in one set lol & can’t forget this chunky cable scarf that is on sale at JCrew.

You’ll never guess our first stop in Chicago. Deep dish of course at Giordano’s (the worlds best so they say). It was amazing pizza but Ted was kind of in love. We did some shopping & exploring on Mag Mile which was right next to our hotel Mile North Hotel that we loved. We then met up with our lovely friends who were celebrating their one year anniversary. We crashed their dinner at Bandera which I loved the atmosphere & food was a plus. We ended the night on our hotels rooftop bar which had AMAZING views.
