Happy Friday! Here is another Friday Casual look that can be mimicked as your own. I love a good chambray button up with a pull over sweater. Makes the days feel comfy and you can’t go wrong with this look at work with some jeans and heels. I also had a special guest in this post, my furry son Chewy! Ted and I got him 7 years ago when we first starting dating. I think it is the cutest thing ever. We both are kind of obsessed with how perfect his personality is. He is sooo chill just like his mommy and daddy! Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this post! Today I am headed to the Houston Nutcracker for some good ol shopping.
Yall, I wouldn’t be lying if I told you this is my go to uniform all year round. Especially for around this time of year where it is still so hot outside. Don’t let us fool you, Houston is still SO HOT. So a light shirt with a puffy vest is the perfect comfy casual ensemble that I live in. Now these jeans are from Newyork & Co and I would of never of thought to go jean shopping there but let me tell you, they are everyone’s secret. These jeans linked here (on sale) feel like jean leggings and jean leggings but not actual jean leggings are my thing (if that makes sense lol). I am all about comfort with pants and why I am so darn picky when it comes to them. So I either wear leggings, Newyork & Co, or dresses lol. True story.
Anyways, thank you all for stopping by! Yesterday was Ted and I’s 4 year engagement anniversary. Man does time fly. We celebrated the only way we knew how, beer, wine, cheese, meat spread, and a movie. Our favorite kind of nights together (plus this blog post). Hope you all have a fab Thursday!
Such an easy look for a transitional season! I dressed up this striped dress with a jean jacket and some booties for a more fall look. This t-shirt dress material is very upscale and you will not be disappointed once you get your hands on it. The best part, its on sale! I linked my favorite Jean Jacket that I may have sworn I would never give into the trend, yet I love it! This jean jacket is pretty long, light, and great for traveling. My booties of course are my go to black booties.
I hope everyone is having a great hump day! I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday. I have last minute errands to run all day before the big wedding weekend Ted and I are so blessed to be apart. I absolutely LOVE when we are in weddings together. It makes it that more special.
I am a huge believer in black on black. A little leopard print doesn’t hurt either. These loafers are the perfect pair to slip on and go adding a touch of flair to your wardrobe. I am on the hunt for more flats since it is always needed in Houston and for traveling comfortable.
PS I am laughing so hard in this photo since Hubby cracks me up during our photo shoots. So thankful for his support and willing to take out time in his busy day for assisting me with my dreams. I love you buttercup.
