Ruffle Hem Sweater: Edit (similar but 70% off) | Jeans: Sarah | Shoes: Finorah | Glasses: Karen Walker

Sometimes pairing basic colors makes sense. Color blocking is my favorite since it takes little effort but makes a look complete. Here I included white, black, and some browns in the shoes. How simple but all comes together so well. I found some adorable hem ruffle options here, here, here, and here (70% off). Ruffles at the hem make such a basic top look more chic. This exact ruffle top is sold out but the little girl version of it is still available here for a special little in your life. These white jeans are also the comfiest, stretchiest jeans you will find and super affordable ($55).

Thanks for stopping by! Today we are off to our first adventure, Las Vegas, for the 19127898712 time. This place always feels like home returning. Can’t wait to hang out on the strip and eat all yummy foods. Happy  Thursday!

Linen Dress: ASTR | Flats: Lucky (Sale) | Purse: Matt & Nat (similar) | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Alex & Ani | Lipstick: Nars

How adorable is this linen dress? It reminds me of the perfect backyard bbq dress that is oh so light and breathable for those hot summer days. Thankfully yesterday the weather was absolutely beautiful so I got to bring this bad boy out to share to the world. Don’t you all get so excited when you get a new outfit and you can’t wait to wear it. That is exactly how this dress made me feel. I love the layering detail at the bottom of this dress that excites the cut instead of the boring straight lined dresses. The sleeves on the dress give such personality and the slit in the back (eek can’t believe I forgot a picture of that) is just too darn cute. I will be honest and let you all know that the front tie knot that is pictured above is not how the dress was originally intended to be worn. Haha I so did tie it in the front instead of the back but oh well. That is the best thing about style and clothing, since it is on your body, you do you boo.

Gah, looking at these photos gets me so giddy about the summer. Did I mention I can’t wait? First comes Spring which I can manage until Summer. Thanks for stopping by darlings!

Peasant Blouse: Forever21 | Jeans: Similar | Booties: Topshop | Laptop Bag: Marc Jacobs | Watch: Michael Kors

This peasant blouse is so adorable and super affordable. I linked many similar options below from Forever21 in the scroll widget below. These jeans are also an old pair so you will find many distressed pairs in the widget as well. I did stretch out the holes on these jeans and that is why they are so much bigger. I bet you can recreate these holes by cutting an old pair of jeans you don’t wear anymore. This look is very easy to recreate and perfect for those good weather days. I included my laptop bag in a couple of shots that I adore and highly recommend. I have had this bag for years and it still is in tiptop shape. It is also on super sale so I would recommend you working gals grab one.
Thanks for stopping by lovelies! I hope you are having a happy Tuesday! Ted and I are getting ready to head out of town later this week so that means running around all week trying to fit my to dos in before we leave. I live for our adventures together around the globe.

Sweater: Topshop | Jeans: Articles of Society | Shoes: Converse | Watch: Michael Kors | Arm Cand: Rocksbox (free month code: dedebff2)

With it still being sweater weather, sad I know, I wanted to mix it up and inspire the transitional look unto Spring. Yes, Spring is right around the corner and I can hardly wait. Sweater weather is cool and all, but truthfully it limits my wardrobe when all I worry about is staying warm. I paired this adorable sweater (that comes in many pretty colors) with white jeans to transition into spring. If you are looking for some comfortable white jeans, beacause comfortable is all I do, then you will not go wrong with these. They are the perfect stretchy material that I look for in jeans and only around $55.

I also recommend investing in some darling white converse because I know they made a comeback last summer but best believe they will be returning again this year. I always like to be prepared for the seasons ahead instead of squirming for essential pieces during the season. Why you ask? Because I usually get around to buying what I want when its too late and we are onto the next season. Anyone else or just me?!

Anyways, thanks for stopping by lovelies! I hope you all had a restful weekend and ready to take on week 2 of the New Year. I sure am with a packed week.
