I’ve been asked how to chase your dream by multiple people throughout my blogging journey. The funny thing is I’m not quite sure, I don’t have all the answers, but I might as well give it a shot. During, NYFW I was reminded multiple times how dreams do come true. Here I am a girl from Texas in New York for NYFW in the Dream hotel…talk about feeling like you are in a dream. I by no means am an expert when it comes to this topic but along the way I have learned a LOT…

Here are some simple steps :

1. Take a chance: don’t spend time thinking what if. I literally pondered on starting a blog for MONTHS and should have taken a chance when I thought of it. You’ll never be 100% ready, you just have to take the leap.
2. Don’t be afraid to fail: after taking the leap, you may fall. I have failed, time and time again but you only pick back up stronger!
3. Surround yourself with people who are chasing theirs: I have been blessed to be surrounded by beautiful ladies who are running after their goals, this is HUGE. Find a support system that will constantly build you up instead of tear you down.
4. Work hard, work your little booty off: I believe what you put in is what you get out. If you really really want something, you are going to work hard for it. Nothing good comes easy!
I really did get inspired by this post after staying at the Dream hotel with THE BEST ROOMIES there ever was. I literally could not stop laughing the entire trip. These girls were just so uplifting, encouraging, and it was a non judgmental zone. We spent SO many good memories on the roof top, in our room with piles of clothes, swapping outfits, late late late nights and early early coffee runs. I couldn’t have survived the entire week without Emily, Lauren, and Dani and of course the Dream hotel for having us! Also love that a proceed of our stay at the hotel will be going towards Hurricane Harvey.
