Romper: Sil Boutique | Jean Jacket: ASOS (similar) | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Shoes: Steve Madden  | Glasses: Karen Walker

This romper from Sil Boutique is the perfect Spring go to. I wore this outfit for a brunch with some blogger ladies a couple of weeks ago and thought it was the perfect ensemble. The romper has an extra lining on the bottom so I didn’t have to be worry about showing a little more than I want. I also am LOVING vertical stripes and especially black and white. Basic stripes were in last year but this year they have made a comeback a little more creative and I love it. (linking similar vertical rompers in the widget below)

Another note: I came to the realization that not everyone lives in Texas and is experiencing the 90+ degree weather we are getting. I realize that some of you all are in New York or in Colorado which means majority of my outfits are not relevant and I want to fix that. I want this site to be a special place for you to come for inspiration and to find on trend items. I believe that the way you dress is an expression to the world of who you are/how you are feeling. So because of this, yes maybe a romper is not relevant at the time but adding a denim jacket and introducing your spring items such as a romper, is.  Hope that makes sense?!

Happy Monday! Today it is back to the grind with working out and back to my emails. I literally haven’t been home since Thursday. We had an insane busy weekend with friends and family so you know this girl is ready to kick it back into gear.

Yippee its Friday y’all! I am going to keep this short and sweet. I love this time of year when the sun comes out and I can play with color. I found this tank almost identical and it is ON SALE y’all! I think it is so darling and the color green for this time of year is head turning. It also comes in white if you want to play it safe! I think investing in some plain but colorful tanks is key for this time of year. Some chambray shorts are also my fav because of how light weight and comfortable they are. This look was thrown together for a day around the resort and it is so effortless yet chic and filled with color.

I hope you all have a great weekend! I have a few events planned here and there and hopefully some RR time with the hubs. What are your plans for the weekend? Thank you as always for stopping by! Means the world.

Swing Dress: Albion | Shoes: Converse | Chambray: BP

I wanted to talk about this swing dress that is oh so comfy. I seriously just threw this on to run errands with some converse and it is the best. It is a piece that can be worn anywhere with its airy and light weight characteristics.  I foresee a lot of summer days running around in this piece. The merlot was my favorite color (comes in yellow & black too) and I love that I have an option to wear it off the shoulder or not. I decided to tie around a chambray button up to break up the maroon color and add some pop of color. I absolutely love that the 90s style is making a come back. I also love that I was around in the 90s to have already experience these trends. I remember LOVING to wrap my jacket around my waist. I thought I was such a cool kid. I don’t see the windbreakers coming back anytime soon but I am having so much fun with these trends!

Happy Thursday loves! Today is mother dears birthday so I am off to join her on her trip. I was so exhausted last week joining her on her Philadelphia trip ( I have no idea how she does it)! I think I slept for like 2 days to recover. Since it’s her birthday, my sister and I are surprising her and we get to spend the day in Guatemala. Whats funny is my dad and mom use to come here ALL the time growing up. They loved the culture and the fun jackets they use to sell down here (talking 90s jackets). They use to fly to Guatemala once a month to purchase leather jackets and bring them back to the states to sell. We were itty bitty but they would have us join. I don’t remember anything at all so I am excited to be back. If only my dad could be here today to join us, he would have loved it! Anyways I would love recommendations if you have any.

Dress: Leith | Wallet: Tory Burch | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Earrings: Kendra Scott

This dress is the perfect color, perfect price point, perfect v-cut. Say no more. My only recommendation about this dress is TO GO A SIZE DOWN. It does run pretty big and to give it the maximum potential this dress has to offer, size down. You can tell how big it is on me and I had tied the back of the dress a little to give it more of a look. I do believe this dress color is perfection giving it such a soft romantic look. I love how the light pink of my new Tory Burch chain wallet laid on this dress. I believe this would be the perfect dress for any special occasion you have coming up wether that is attending a shower, wedding, date night. The list can go on. It is versatile and you can’t beat the price point.

Happy Hump Day friends! Mom wants me to join her on another trip tomorrow and I have a full day of meetings so running around like a chickens head cut off today! It is her birthday so how can I say no to joining another trip with her. Although Philly was EXHAUSTING. I am not sure how flight attendants do it. Major props!
