So the look we were going for was blogger brunch and I feel like I nailed the blogger brunch for a total of $33 for my top and bottom. This eyelet top is SO darling and the cheapest thing you can find. I know I usually am an advocate for quality over quantity butttt when its a top that is this darling, I make an exception. I also tend to make an exception when I know I won’t be wearing these items all year round. When going for staples, quality is a big key for me. I also love going into Forever 21 and get my creative juice flowing and trying on fun but different stuff in the dressing room. Anyone else? I get such a thrill haha but I mainly shop online so that creativeness can only go so far. Am I making any sense?

Anyways, I got to take these photos with some lovely lovely Houston bloggers. I adore each of these ladies so much. We all got together before our blogger conference to snap these photos. I think the most important takeaway from the conference I learned was to blog about your passion. I hear that a lot but for me I came to the realization that fashion is truly my passion. Getting my creative juice on while pairing outfits together, getting giddy about certain materials, and loving on color all play apart of fashion. I’ll say this time and time again, “I believe clothing is not an item of materialism: it’s a sense of self expression”. Quote from me of course (haha). It’s a way of telling the world how I am feeling that day and I am so fortunate to get to play dress up on this site everyday!

Make sure to check out my Thrive Tribe and their blogs for more details of their outfits and their experience at their first time at Thrive.

Thanks Diamond Oak Photography for these darling photos
