So over the weekend Ted, and our closest couple friends took a trip to San Francisco. We originally were there for Life to Lauren wedding but sadly due to the fires, the wedding was postponed. Breaks my heart for everyone affected by the fires and it was so crazy to speak to the locals who all had a story close to their heart about it. It definitely reminded me of the experience we had in Houston with Harvey. You can read all about Lauren’s experience here (she is such a gem) and donate here. We certainly will be back in May to celebrate Colton & Lauren and we can’t wait!

This was my first time in San Fran and the locals TOTALLY called me out for calling it “Fran” instead of Francisco. Apparently its taboo so this is your warning! I am going to break it down by categories this trip!

We ended up staying at The Argonaut Hotel and I shared a few pictures above of the cute hotel! It is the perfect location on Fishermans Wharf where all the hustle and bustle is. It also was walking distance to the Ghirardelli Factory where we ended each night with a sweet treat (so bad) lol! The rooms were huge and a cute nautical theme. We loved the location and highly recommend staying here. We would for sure stay here again!

Salt House: This was one of my top favorite places. Not sure if it was the ambiance or just a date night with Ted that sold me! We went straight to this restaurant when we landed before our friends came in and we had so much fun! We did make reservations on open table but I did see lots of walk ins! My favorite drink was “The Key”. It was bitter and sour but soooo yum! I had like 3 and will def go back just for this drink. Our favorite was the shishito peppers and butternut squash soup.

Posh Bagel: For breakfast one morning we started at Posh Bagel. This place was yummm and right next to all the shopping. I love love love a good lox bagel so I HIGHLY recommend one from here. I am craving one now but I haven’t found any good ones in Houston. I always find the best ones out of town!

Jane on Fillmore: We also had Sunday brunch here and it was yummy! There was a line so be prepared to wait a little. We sat at the bar and I had the avocado toast. It was good but didn’t fill me up! I ended up also eating Teds egg white sandwich. We do recommend the toffy cookie. Seriously the best ever!

Tonys Pizza: We bought a box of pizza to split for four of us and we were ROCKED. Like couldn’t breathe and needed a nap after lol. There are two parts to Tonys, a restaurant and then a pizza counter. We just did the pizza counter and sat outside. The veggie slices was all of our favorites! This restaurant got tons of awards and HIGHLY recommend!

Blue Mermaid: Ok this was probably my favorite memory via restaurants. We had some local bread bowl chowder, oysters, and ALLL the yummy  drinks. The Pink Lady drink was my favorite (again tart, grapefruit). We just sat outside and enjoyed Fishermans Wharf with lots of food, drinks, and good company. We also got an amazing charcuterie board which you can see above! Highly recommend this restaurant! It also was walking distance from our hotel.

Ghirardelli Factory: This is a city spot just as much as it’s considered a Sundae bar. SO yum! We kept coming back and I am very much regretting it now that I am home. I kept splitting the banana split but I also loved the one with brownies!

Sweet Maple: This is probably the most common recommended place. We didn’t get a chance to go since Sunday morning the line was wrapped around the door! I am only sharing because it must be good!

Ok I didn’t do a good job at going to all of these but here is a couple we went to and a couple that was recommended!

San Francisco Bridge: OBVY! We did Lands End where you can walk the trail and its such a stunning view of the bridge. The next day we did drive across the bridge and walked it. We also drove up the hill for  better view. You can say we REALLY got our bridge experience in lol!

Painted Ladies house / park: Get yourself a bottle of wine, a blanket, and enjoy the view of Painted Ladies && San Francisco.

Fishermans Wharf: Such a fun place to go walk. A little touristy but that never hurts! Also Blue Mermaid was yummy here!

Persido: This is a good area to take stoop photos. Such a nice expensive area with adorable houses! We even stopped into a estate sale just to creep into a home haha!

& obviously Mrs. Doubtfire house && the Full House house!

First, a minute of silence needs to take place for the BEAUTIFUL foliage that is happening in these pictures. Next, we need to talk Switch because it’s been a fun way for me to rent designer jewelry monthly. Think Red Box but for jewelry. I especially love it because I can try out pieces that I have had my eye on but I don’t have to make the splurge until I know I can’t live without it. Like these Chanel earrings, SO CLASSY, so comfortable, and they go with everything. The last Chanel earrings I borrowed weren’t as light / comfortable so I love that I got a chance to try these out. I am HIGHLY debating purchasing them. You can also eventually purchase your jewelry from Switch as well. I think it’s an AMAZING concept that I am not sure how I could do with out! They also are so kind to give everyone their first month free with code: BUTTERCUP. Be sure to share with your friends, it lasts until the end of the year!

Happy hump day babes!! Today I am thinking staying in my PJS is a must. I just have bible study later today but I think I will go with no make up and pjs haha! Somedays you just need those kind of days. Now if only I could just hid out on the couch as well and binge Netflix, life would be good but nope I must adult today!

EEK so excited to share hubby bubby on the blog today for some ultimate fall fashion inspo. October is the time to bring out plaid and transition your closest for the new season. I had so much fun dressing up the husband in plaid to match me haha! I mean everyone coordinates with their babies, and dogs, why not with your spouse? While shopping for him, we came across Nordstrom’s Men Shop, which I think is what we will continue buying for him. They have such a good selection and under $100 finds. We also got him 3 colors of these AG jeans, because they fit so well and I am a huge sucker for mens colored pants! Ted has been a jeans and black tee kind of guy (like everyday) so I love when he changes it up! Since I have been so into Nordstrom lately, I loved shopping updating his fall wardrobe at Nordstrom too!

I also have been obsessed with this top, and my skirt is for a steal of a price. It was the perfect coordination and we wore this look around San Francisco yesterday while exploring! We had the ultimate San Francisco day and came across this stoop while around the “Full House” house!

Anyway, husband leaves me again today to Asia for work and I couldn’t be more sad about it! I took in all the snuggles since I hate not having him by my side. He has been working NON-stop for a huge acquisition they have him working on in Asia. He will be back and forth all month long. I really do think absence makes the heart grow fonder, because I truly do appreciate him when he is home. All I want to do is spoil him!

One Dress 4 Ways

Dress: Leith | Jacket: Mural | Boots: Kendall + Kylie | Purse: Givenchy | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: David Yurman | Bracelet: David Yurman

Ok it was wayyyy cold in Denver in the evenings and I used this jacket to keep me warm. It is SO cozy and SO cute. The trench coat has been so trendy and I was excited to get to colder weather to wear it! This is an under $100 steal and I think it gets the job done!

Dress: Leith | Sweater: BP. | Boots: Kendall + Kylie | Purse: Givenchy | Hat: Halogen         Purse: Givenchy | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: David Yurman | Bracelet: David Yurman

Ok this is my second color in this chenille top and its SO soft. I wore this outfit to dinner last night before we went to the soccer field. I wore this other color (brownish) on our way to Austin last week and got so many compliments on it. I can’t believe how cozy it is and a under $50 steal. LOVE LOVE it and I loved that I can just throw it over this dress for a cozy look!

Dress: Leith | Blazer: MURAL | Boots: Kendall + Kylie | Purse: Givenchy | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: David Yurman | Bracelet: David Yurman

OK this blazer is calling every boss ladies name. How perfect is the double breasted blazer. So chic and I loved wearing it out the other night. It kept me warm and layering it over this body con dress made it the ultimate shine piece. Perfect for work too!

Dress: Leith | Sweater: Free People | Boots: Sam Edelman | Purse: Givenchy | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: David Yurman | Bracelet: David Yurman

Ok this dress && this black long sleeve version has been the dress of my dreams. I think I fell in love with it after Ted told me that he loved this dress on me. Haha I immediately ordered it in all the colors since I take his compliments very seriously! He then noticed I rotated between this grey dress and the black long sleeve all week long and he was like, “uhhhh are you really going to wear that again?” haha opps! Anyway since it has been my absolute favorite piece, I thought I would share it 4 ways I have been styling it. It is perfect for laying and is so versatile. I honestly am surprised Ted noticed since I did wear it differently like everyday haha!

PS all these looks I have been actually wearing this month so they are looks I have worn out and LOVE! I picked all these up at Nordstrom because they have the best selection for fall items. I mean the fact that they have this dress in a million different colors, all the praise hands!
