I grabbed this adorable set from Nordstrom for our trip to Tokyo and decided to shoot it just incase we didn’t get some shots in Tokyo. Luckily, we did and I now get to share this styled scarf and gloves two ways. I do regret not getting the matching beanie here because the entire shindig would have been the cutest! This set comes in 3 different colors and is the perfect travel accessory to keep you warm! I was debating between the light pink and blue set and I may just go back and get both.

The first way I styled this set was with these black over the knee boots and my favorite black denim #iwearthemalot.  I have been wearing this sweater non stop and even slept in it a couple nights while we were in Tokyo. Since it was so chilly there, I opted for a puffer jacket to keep me warm in my second look. Tennis shoes was a must in the second look for exploring Tokyo and my feet thanked me every day.

I kinda can’t believe it’s Friday since my weeks all off. This weekend I kinda have no plans besides heading to Nordstrom for more scarves and glove combos. Since its actually cold in Houston, I need to stock up on things that will keep me warm. If I don’t find anything, I will for sure be ordering from them since free shipping and free returns is my jam, aka Nordstrom is my jam.

Oriental Skirt

Top: Topshop | Skirt: Topshop | Clutch: Tory Burch | Watch: Larrson & Jennings | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Shoes: Sam Edelman |

I thought this oriental / floral skirt seemed appropriate since I just returned from Tokyo. I apologize for the delayed post today, jet lag is the real deal. I even had plans to work out this morning but sleep got the best of me! I mentioned on IG I absolutely loved fashion watching in Tokyo. Everyone’s style is so unique and they definitely think outside the box – which left me very inspired. This wrap floral skirt reminds me of the culture that I fell in love with so dearly. What’s funny is I styled a black and pink look yesterday wearing the same sweater. I just noticed that but hey when I find a sweater / trend that I like, I tend to stick to it!

I kinda can’t believe I am back and need to get my booty back in the swing of things. I always need a vacation after a vacation and I so desperately want a day of nothing. I am trying to keep my plans to a minimum and just recuperate on the couch. We started Designated Survivor last night when we couldn’t fall asleep and I love it! Finally we found another show that both of us will enjoy.

A couple of my absolute favorite trends are in this look that I am so excited to share with you! First you probably have noticed I wear these black ripped denim more than I should. I am kinda obsessed with how they are high waisted and the rips to make it edgy. I typically am not a fan of monotone colors but I pulled it off with light pink and black – I love it. This slouch coat is SO warm and very on trend. It comes in 4 colors, a good price point, and is a must. We noticed all over the streets of Tokyo, slouch coats were the thing and surprisingly, Ted even noticed! I personally think they are also warmer since they can keep a part of your legs warm. To complete the look these studded boots topped it all off to give the edgy / sassy look. Of course all these items are found at Nordstrom, my number one go to. I love searching in the trending section to really get inspiration and shop all the latest trends here.

Happy hump day! We currently are on the way back home. Tokyo has probably been one of my favorite trips. I typically am a beach bumm but this city has really stolen my heart! I will do a round up of our adventures soon.

Hats & Ruffle Galore

Sweater: Chelsea28 | Jeans: Topshop| Boots: Marc Fisher LTD | Hat: Hinge (Similar) | Purse: Tory Burch (Similar) | Bracelet: BaubleBar |

Y’all, trends come and go but ruffles will always stay, in my book, at least. How cute is this one shoulder ruffle sweater. I did mention yesterday that I am all about neutral color sweaters and I love that this one shoulder ruffle spices it up. I also have been slacking on the hat game lately just because I forget about them. Hats are the perfect accessory to take your outfit up a level. I love searching for floppy, baseball, boat, straw, cowboy, or just about any type of hat you can think of at Nordstrom! I also love how this hat ties the pops of black with the boots. These OTK boots are my favorite this season and I know for a fact they will be back next year SO if you’re still on the edge, go for it! I do want to point out that pointy toe OTK boots are going to be big so hop on them now if you can. The rounded toe boots are still cute but pointy is the new jam!

It’s our last day in Japan today and I am pretty sad about it. This country is so great, it’s definitely one of our top #raadstravel trips. It’s just so different and the people are SO NICE. Happy Tuesday loves!
