How adorable is this tied up chambray. Once I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Chambray has become such a basic shirt but the touch of lace up is perfection. It is a mix of comfortable (which I am all about) with some chic style. Did you all know that chambray or “serenity” is this years Pantone color. Pantone is an international panel that chooses colors every year that influences the fashion, wedding, home decor, etc industry. I found out about Pantone while I was in the wedding industry as a wedding coordinator. Once the color came out every year, it was game time for the wedding industry leaders to utilize the color. Now that I am in the fashion industry, it is pretty much the same thing! This year was the first time ever that they have released two colors together, rose quartz and serenity. There is a deeper meaning behind the colors than just colors.

I just did a collaboration with some ladies with Pantone colors and I am speaking about it at my first blog hosting event this weekend so it clearly has been on my heart.  I will go more in depth of Pantone on a future post. Thanks for stopping by and happy Hump DAY!
