Prep In My Step: Blazer | Button Up: Flannel | Pants: 1981 (similar) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker  | Booties: BP (similar) | Watch: Michael Kors

I thought that this combo was so cute, I had to share. It’s such a preppy look, “prep in my step” seemed appropriate as the title. I love love the color combo army green and navy. All was needed was a flannel print in this mix to top it off. I think we all need to invest in some staple blazers. They really do dress up an outfit and create a more sophisticated look. I especially love the detailing of blazers when you role up the sleeves. Even as small as pinstripes such as this blazer gives it a sense of style. If you noticed, I rolled up my blazer sleeve to peek out the flannel look.

If I was still in corporate America, this would be my go to outfit. I thought it was right to shoot this outfit at the new office building down the street, do I fit in? Sadly, the security officer didn’t think so and we got kicked out during this shoot. Thanks for stopping by Buttercups and happy weekend!
