Dress: Maggy London | Shoes: Steve Madden | Purse: Rebecca Minkoff | Earrings: Lisi Lierch

I finally got my hands on the Nordstrom sale and all is well in the world. I picked up my order yesterday and was so excited when I found this dress apart of the sale. I have had my eye on this ensemble for some time now and it put a smile on my face seeing it was under $100. I have been loving pleated details lately and shades of blue. When I think Nordstrom Sale I think a bunch of booties and jackets, which I am in complete denial that summer is coming to an end. I don’t even want to think about shopping for those items that will have to just sit in my closet for a couple more months until Texas heat passes. If you are like me, you know we end up regretting not purchasing those knee high booties months down the line when we are desperate for some. I kick my self in the booty every season because my mood shouldn’t get the best of me. I recommend you don’t pull a Dede and go ahead and purchase those winter items to save, we will thank our selves later. Have I convinced you enough? Because I also am trying to convince my self! lol

Can you all believe that it is already Thursday? Hubby and I have been sharing a phone and car all week. I pretty am helpless since my car has a flat and I refuse to go sit hours by my self to fix it. My phone crashed in Barcelona and we ordered a new one that should be arriving in the mail sometime soon! I can’t get around Houston without GPS on a phone so I have been dropping off Ted at work every morning and stealing his phone. Poor guy is so selfless I have stripped him! He has been on a steps obsession the past couple of weeks since during our trip we didn’t realize how much we don’t walk in our everyday lives. We averaged at least 20,000 steps a day in Europe so this kid has insisted on walking home from work to meet his goal. Houston just isn’t the same  that the poor kid doesn’t even appropriate sidewalks to walk to work lol I applaud his 1.5 hour walk and 15k steps later. So proud of you baby!
