For my friends who are still putting up with 90 degree weather in the middle of October – I am with ya. While I am not to excited for the cold, it being so darn hot has gotten the best of me. I started to think how can I still dress for Fall (& use my fall outfits) without dying of a heat stroke. Well first, I realized color is key and growing up I really never learned that colors play a huge role in seasons. If i was wearing a bright yellow skirt, which I can do whatever I want, with this top – you would automatically think summer since its a short skirt and gingham. Now that I found this olive skirt ($35) it is the perfect fall color and no one questions twice about the fall look. Since its still hot, our OTK boots and sweaters are put on hold for a while. Still dressing for the weather with the right amount of fall colors is key. Stick to jewel tones and you’re golden no matter the style of the clothing piece.

I hope this helps friends and happy Friday! We have the most jam packed weekend ever. I have 3 nights of Fashion x Houston that started last night and I will be going again tonight and tomorrow night. Tomorrow our church is putting on a Health Festival for refugees in Houston which has been big and we are so excited for! & Sunday we have the Texans game and tailgating. So much going on that we will have no time to be home with our pup but thats ok! See you back here Monday :)
