Sweater: Halogen | Denim: Good American | Scarf: Madewell | Booties: BP | Lip: Nars

I feel like most people miss the basics, including me. I usually tend to grab the cute trendy items while shopping which always leaves me with nothing to wear for those “I don’t feel like making a statement” days. Since fall is officially here, I wanted to break down some fall basics you will need and, will constantly be grabbing all season long!

  1. Cashmere Sweater: Lightweight sweaters are the BEST and my go to. This cashmere sweater is extremely soft and comes in 11 different colors. Camel colors for fall are huge right now and a good essential color! I also think I need the burgundy color which is also another hot fall color this season. This sweater is perfect for layering whether thats a flannel underneath or a big coat over it when winter comes along.
  2. Dark Denim:  Good American jeans just got launched last week, and I had to try them to see what all the rage was about. I am going to be honest here and let you know the only way I knew about Good American was through the Kylie Jenners snapchat (#guilty #pleasedonthateme #ijusthadtogetthatoffmychest). Dark denim / dark hues, your earthy colors are what falls all about and you will constantly be grabbing your dark denim this season. These Good American jeans were SUPER comfortable and the perfect stretchy, soft material. The only sad part about them is they run super super big. I would recommend maybe even going two sizes down.
  3. Plaid Scarf: Now you know its officially fall when everyone brings out their plaid scarf. It’s such an easy way to dress up an outfit and also keep you warm. This wool scarf has such pretty colors and is officially my favorite. Like imagine the outfit without the scarf? It would still be cute but it would be alright.
  4. Booties: My booties are super old and I bought like 5 pairs after this one but I keep going back to it. Find a bootie thats comfortable, a good color, and you’re set. They also last multiple seasons so splurging for the right pair isn’t a bad idea. Mine are so dirty but I love the style of it, that I was so excited to find brown leather similar ones here that I will be ordering asap.

You know I love free shipping, using my closet as my dressing room, and free easy returns so todays look is by the one and only Nordstrom! Happy Friday babes – I am headed to College Station for a couple of hours to see sissy.
