Mi Casa Su Casa: Topshop | Jeans: Articles of Society  | Shoes: Steve Madden  | Sunglasses: Amazon | Purse: Tory Burch Chain Wallet

Once I saw this tee from Topshop, I knew I had to have it. The meaning behind “mi casa su casa” means “my house is your house”. This has pressed heavy on my heart lately so the tee seemed so fitting. This video also had Ted and I dying laughing the other day about people stopping by unexpectedly. I remember the good ol’ days moms friends would always stop by surprise. That doesn’t happen anymore.

I believe the Lord has blessed Ted and I with a beautiful home and all that are in need of a home, is welcome at ours. We love when people stop by unexpectedly, come over for dinner, hang out, sleep over, and just live life in our house. It’s my sanctuary and my heart is to open our house to those who need it. I also believe my “casa” does not have to be my literal house, but my house as in the space of Dress Up Buttercup. This is my home to share my heart, my passion for style, and a place for self expression. This is where I pour my heart and soul into hours on hours per day and where I want you to feel like home. A place you can visit daily and feel that you have gained new insight and find your own self expression. If there is anything more you would like to see at our “casa”, I would love to hear your recommendation.

Now back to this outfit. Of course adding white jeans, my favorite are these, and some chunky heels dress up this tee for a more dressed up look. This Robinson chain wallet is also something I have had my eye on for months. It’s a wallet but you are able to wear it out and not worry about it with the chain added. The chain also gives it a dressier look and I highly recommend it.

Thanks for stopping by buttercups and happy Monday!
