Is it baby season in anyone else’s life, or just me?! I am so excited for this new season of life where all my friends are starting to have little ones. My sister in law is preggo, 4 girls in our church are expecting babies, and my sweet blogger friend Ashley is also expecting! I was so excited for the opportunity to shower Ashley, from Simplicity and Coffee, for her sweet baby girl arriving this Spring! I teamed up with Roselyn and Sara to throw off this adorable high tea shower and it was a blast. We were so fortunate to come across Hotel Granduca to throw the most perfect High Tea! I was drooling all over that china. With us blogger ladies having such a busy schedule, it was so nice to have the hotel take care of everything! They chose everything from the menu, food, decor, etc. All we had to do was show up with our fancy outfits (mine pictured above) and enjoy! I know it can be stressful planning a shower, I am helping with 2 right now, and this one was by far the easiest!

Now, what to wear to a baby shower? I typically like to stick with the theme. Since I knew Ashley was having a baby Girl, I went with a light pink duster to match the ambiance of the hotel and the high tea environment. To be honest, I have never owned a duster until this season (I styled one here) and they make such a fun statement! Does anyone else dress for the gender of the baby or am I alone in this too?! lol
