Turtle Neck: Splendid |  Jeans: AFRM    (25 tts) | Shoes: Sam Edelman  | Earrings: Kate Spade   | Purse: Givenchy | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: David Yurman | Bracelet: David Yurman

So the real piece that takes the cake to this outfit is these distressed denim for under one hundred dollas! I took a chance on them since they do not look flattering on the model but I thought how I never wear jeans and I think I would wear these a lot. I FOR sure will be wearing these a lot because they are so flattering and comfortable. They have a high waisted, stretchy, boyfriend fit that is wonderful! I LOVE them and definitely recommend them. As for this black turtle neck, I need to take it off! You prob haven’t noticed but I have been wearing it in a LOT of my recent photos and I just keep grabbing it. Such a good staple piece to invest in!

Happy Monday babes! Did everyone enjoy their weekend? I was out and about all weekend it was so much fun! I also am taking a poll on my insta stories on wether you prefer me sharing my day to day outfit daily or do a full try on session once a week. I LOVE the feedback and it is SO close in numbers. I think I am going to keep doing what I am doing, share what I am wearing if I am buy a mirror, and then have a couple try on sessions a month all depending on schedule, etc! I love love love that I got messages saying both and I just love how much everyone enjoys the sessions. I enjoy putting them together and seeing what is your favorite pieces so it is always a win win! Anywho, happy Monday!

I like big bows and I can not lie (music emoji). Lol I really have always been drawn to big bows weather on my head, around my neck, on my shoes or on my purse. I instantly became so excited when I was browsing on Nasty Gals sight and came across this top. It is such a statement piece that I knew I had to wear it on stage last weekend at the Create and Cultivate event. I would have worn this exact look, the skirt included, but thought being in jeans is a much safer choice. I have been loving this black denim mini skirt and have worn it a few times this week. It’s the perfect fall piece!

Nasty Gal’s site is running a Fall seasonal and Halloween sale with 50% Off Everything promo (including sale) for the remainder of October. Promo code: GET50. Meaning you can find some GREAT deals and pieces on the site. I plan on making another order because I LOVED all the pieces that came in this round.

Side note: I always have been a huge fan of the founder of Nasty Gal “Sophia Amorusa”. I have read her book and listened to her podcast. Her story is AMAZING. Netflix did a show about her called “Girl Boss” and it probably is on my top 10 shows of 2017. I for sure will re watch the season! Anywho, happy weekend! I have a couple birthday parties, a bridal shower, and a staycation planned this weekend and I am husbandless (sad) so it should keep me busy!

My Outfit: Top: Nasty Gal | Skirt: Top Shop | Shoes: Stuart Weitzman | Bow | Bag |

Ted’s Outfit: Button Down: Nordstrom | Pants: AG | Shoes: Johnston & Murphy | Socks: Happy Socks  | Suspenders: Party City  | Hat | Balloon

Ok I have SO much fun comming up with a Halloween costume every year. The creativity just comes out and I always have a million ideas running through my head. I loved comming up with Serena & Blair for a best friend costume with Emily that we shared on IG here last night! With husband, shopping for a birthday suit was SO easy. I just went to Party City and just threw in every birthday item in my basket. Birthday boy suspenders, a hat, a balloon, and a banner around his neck haha! Ted even brought out his Happy Socks (he wears these to work everyday).

As for me, my costume was SO easy. I just bought this bag from Target and cut out a whole at the bottom. I then strung shoe laces around the shoulder to keep the bag up. You can see the shoe laces in the third photo. After, I just stuffed the bag with some tissue paper and added a HUGE bow to my head!

All in all, this was such a easy outfit to make and no one is going to ask you “what are you” this year. It took me tops 30 mins and about $35-45 for both outfits. Happy halloween lovelies!! I would LOVE to see your costume this year if you could DM me / tag me!

Also you can find our costumes over the years here. The love struck by lighting was my favorite and Teds favorite is the money bag and bank robber!
