A LBD doesn’t have to be boring, especially during spring and summer time. You definetly can add pops of color and transition your dress into the new seasons. Here I added my favorite pink shoes and a festive yellow clutch to bring out pops of colors with my LBD. For those who are still trying to figure out what a LBD means = little black dress. Anywho, I am OBSESSED with this dress for a few reasons.

  • The off the shoulder trend is still going strong, but it incorporates a little ruffle as well
  • The material is the bomb! Like nothing I have ever put on. It feels expensive and definitely doesn’t stick to your body, but it’s not $$
  • The price is unbeatable! You prob won’t believe it, I didn’t believe it
  • It comes in every color you can imagine (7 total). I ordered the orange and blue one – best believe I will be wearing them all Spring & Summer long!

Sizing: I ordered a petite small since I am 5’3! I would order this size again or go down to an xs! My sunnies are also the perfect $12 dupes!

I have been on a dress kick lately and clearly I can’t help it, dress is in my name! Since it is officially dress season, I find myself stopping by Nordstrom’s website ever so often . They have the perfect selection for Easter (not too late to order), graduation, wedding, showers, etc!

Uhh how perfect is this body suit for Cabo?! Immediately I thought Mexico when I saw this embroidered top and I immediately felt like I fit in when wearing this set. Anyone else think I play the part or just me? We I was so excited to find this little cactus garden on the side of our JW Marriott hotel on the way to the beach one morning. Ted wasn’t thrilled but I don’t think I have ever met as giant as cactus before.  I paired this bodysuit with my new favorite white denim. I shared on snapchat on Friday, that I tried a little experiment with white denim. I have been wearing $60 jeans for the past couple months and it did not cut it. I clearly got what I paid for, since it stretches every second I wear them and the seems are coming undone. I have been wearing these for a couple weeks now and I couldn’t be more excited of how the fit / quality is. Definitely going to start investing in some denim that will last me more than just a week!

Well, happy Tuesday darlings! The week is going by way to fast for my own good. Ted and I really don’t want our vacation to end. This has literally been exactly what we both need. We keep saying the property grounds here are stunning and we haven’t stayed anywhere as nice. Well, our honeymoon is an entirely different story, but this place is just grand!

Y’all, I am smitten over this embroidered marigold dress that I wore the first night to dinner. I didn’t get a good picture of it so we woke up early Sunday morning to shoot it #bloggerprobs. If you don’t follow along on social media, we currently are in Cabo for a little birthday getaway! We have been to a beach every year for my birthday (Florida, Cancun, Belize, Hawaii) because laying in the sun is literally my love language. This year we get to celebrate my 25th birthday in Cabo at the JW Marriott. The grounds here are STUNNING. It oddly reminds me of the resort we stayed at in Jordan at the Dead Sea. I told that to our bell hop boy and he was like well yeah “without the bombs”. Lol Ted loved it. We have been needing a sit and chill kind of trip for months now. I know everybody says that there is so much to see and do in Cabo but we have decided to not see or do anything this trip. A bunch of relaxing for us please! We plan to come back and will definitely check out what Cabo has to offer and the excursions next trip! So basically I will be able to give you a GOOD review on this hotel but can’t tell you much else about Cabo lol!

Anyways, I will do be doing a full review on the resort sometime in the next couple weeks but until then, I cant stop sharing on IG stories this place. I also shared that while we were shooting this dress, Ted kept yelling to the beach that he is “coming”. The kid has been cracking me up lately on this trip, I love him!  He did like this dress which was a plus! I loved it because of the color, the long sleeves that kept me warm in the restaurant, and the embroidered detail. Such a Cabo look!

Pink Shoulder Dress

Dress: Devlin (navy) | Shoes: Steve Madden | Earrings: Bauble Bar | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelet: Bauble Bar | Purse: Gucci

Happy Friday darlings! Is it just me, or is it so surprising to anyone else that one shoulders are officially back? I remember wearing a navy one should dress back in 2012 to a wedding and thinking I was so stylish. Two years later I was cleaning out my closest and I almost tossed that navy dress since I thought “what was I thinking at the time”. Well 5 years later we are officially in full circle and one shoulder is baaaaaaack. This pink number also comes in navy but I still have that one from 2012 so I went with pink and I am so glad I did. Idk what has gotten into me I guess a girl can never have too many pink dresses. The material would be perfect for any events coming up like weddings, banquets, birthday dinners, etc.

I also wear these shoes with way to many outfits and someone just pointed out that they are sold out at Nordstrom. My mouth dropped bc I was like wait what, I have been linking these and haven’t checked if they were in stock in probably months. I did find them on Zappos which also ships free so thats a plus!

Anywho, this week FLEW by! I guess that is what birthday weeks do to you. The fam and I are headed to College Station to see my precious little sister get her Aggie ring. We all honestly didn’t think she would survive college so it’s pretty much a big deal! We especially didn’t think she would survive a college like A&M so sister, we are so PROUD OF YOU. Tears!
