So I wanted to share this cowgirl inspired, oversized sweater, with you all today to kick off the official rodeo season here in Houston! The cook off was this weekend and I am sure many of you all have plans to go to attend the rodeo this season. If you are not a native Houstonian you are missing out on such a fun time! I would advise to plan a visit and come to the Rodeo at least once. The food is out of the world with fried snickers, bbq, and drinks. I found this oversized sweater and thought it would be perfect for the rodeo since I definitely end up with a food baby from all the bad (bad) food, every time! This sweater is only light so you won’t get too hot but just the perfect material for those cold nights when the concerts ends. I paired it with some gray jeans that I love here and some of the cheapest but cutest cowboy boots. I would love for you all to share your cowgirl inspired hashtags! You always can snapchat me (dederaad) or hashtag your instagram looks with #dressupbuttercup to share! Trust me when I say, I would LOVE to see them.
Thanks for stopping by lovelies! I hope you all had a restful weekend and ready to take on another week. Tomorrow I get my wisdom tooth pulled so today is preparation time. Lots of shopping for soup, jello, and ice cream. Not looking forward to it at all. I will keep you updated here when I may have to miss a post.
Does anyone notice what these colors have in common? Does anyone know what these ladies and I have in common? Well for starters we all are bloggers in the Houston area that will be rooming together for a blogger conference this weekend. We all thought it would be fun to put together out favorite 2016 spring pantone looks. First what is Pantone? Pantone is an international panel that comes together every year, since 1990, to establish the leading colors of the year. These colors influence every industry from the fashion, home decor, wedding, etc. Pantone usually comes out with one color for the year and a color pallet for Spring and Fall. This year Pantone came out for the first time ever with two colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity. These two colors have a deeper meaning that I will explain in a future blog post.
Today I wanted to focus on the spring colors that you can find from the spring 2016 color wheel. Dawn from Dawn P Darnell is in one of this years leading colors, Rose Quartz, in a darling cutout dress. Shelby from Its All Chic to me went with a chic fiesta red dress and I need this similar one she linked. Margret from Style The Girl, who is an adorable mom to be, went with maternity jeans and a serenity top. Lastly, I went with this adorable romper to celebrate the limpet shell color.
I hope you all enjoyed our colors of Spring 2016 Pantone colors. This weekend I am off to a blog conference with these lovely ladies to learn more about how I can grow this blog of mine. I am excited to incorporate all that I learn for this weekend. We have some fun giveaways planned together so stay tuned. I also will be getting my wisdom teeth out next week so I have absolutely nothing planned all week but to catch up on the blog. I probably will only post MWF next week because of my surgery. Thanks for following along lovelies and happy Friday!
Ok so I have had some requests for one pieces are here are some of my top picks. Some of you all are probably thinking wow this blogger jumps seasons way to early but I am always here to get you prepared. Especially for those who are getting vacation ready for Spring Break. Traveling to warmer climates is always on my mind and a chic bathing suit needs to come with. I am beyond happy that one pieces are bringing a come back and cuter than ever. No longer were the days where all one piece swim suit options looked like they belonged to my grandma. Anyone else remember those days?! Thankfully we can pick a variety of cute one pieces and I am hoping this trend is here to stay because I AM IN LOVE. I especially love this reversible swim that is pretty much genius. If you are wanting more options for one pieces, just let me know and I would be glad to email you with more options (not all fit on my picture). I can’t wait to see what swims you all pick for this summer.
Doesn’t this post make you crave a beach? I feel like I crave a beach every other day lol it’s a serious problem. I hope you all are having a great week and so thankful you stopped by!
I have this shirt in black and white and believe they are a necessity for everyones closet. It’s a simple throw on that look makes it look like you made a complete effort for the day. They go with just about any pants you can find. These jeans are my favorite and uber soft but you can see they look way big. I always get scared that jeans are going to be super tight therefor makes them uncomfortable so I went up a size. At first they fit and look great but the more I wear them the more the stretch and give that baggy look. You can’t beat the price of these jeans though that make it all worth it. This was such a simple put together look that I bet you all can recreate.
Happy Hump Day! I wanted to thank you all for your feedback yesterday on either a post at the end or in the middle. Thankful that you all agreed with me on the end of the post commentary 🙂 I am the same way of wanting to see all the pictures and not wanting to stop to read. I hope you all have a great Wednesday. Wednesday is the Raad family date night since Ted is in school the rest of the nights of the week. I am so excited to just be with him today. He is such a joy 🙂
